Luncheon!-Social Media-Too Much of a Good Thing

Social media can be overwhelming and affect your overall mental health. Because of this, and in recognition of mental health month, our luncheon tomorrow, Tuesday, May 24, is titled Social Media—Too Much of a Good Thing. Presented by the Chamber’s Live Better Committee, and sponsored by Covington Behavioral Health, our expert speakers, Patricia Plaisance with Covington Behavioral Health, and Maria Medina-Whitfield with Ochsner Health’s Psychiatry Department will be focusing on the impact of social media on mental health and will be providing valuable information for both adolescents and adults in the workplace to address the significant rise on reliance on social media and managing the pressure of constant connection. There will also be time for them to answer your questions and you will have access to additional resources from several mental help organizations onsite. We look forward to seeing you on tomorrow, Tuesday, May 24 @ 11:30 at Beau Chene Country Club. You can click here to register.
